ACERA social BBQ delivers a great day out
The ACERA social BBQ on Saturday October 24 marked the first in person event of the year following the lightening of restrictions. Many enjoyed the opportunity to mix with friends and industry colleagues and enjoy some expertly cooked snags and kebabs at Sir James Mitchell Park, South Perth.
Reflecting on a tough year for the petroleum industry, President Tysun Chan reminded guests that the outlook for gas was still positive as it remains the fastest-growing fossil fuel and the only fossil fuel expected to grow beyond 2035.
The recent renewal of the general collaboration agreement between the ACERA, WA Chinese Science Association and WA Chinese Engineering Association was also mentioned, with the three associations looking forward to jointly organising events in 2021.
