Foundation of
ACERA
The Western Australia Chinese Petroleum Association (WACPA), the predecessor of ACERA, was officially founded on June 19th, 2014, in Perth Western Australia. The founding ceremony was attended by numerous dignitaries, including Mr. Bill Marmion MLA, Minister for Mines and Petroleum of Western Australia, and Gerry Flaherty, General Manager of PetroChina Canada.
WACPA is a non-profit, non-political organization established by professionals in the Chinese petroleum industry. The association aims to foster technical exchange and communication among Chinese oil professionals in Western Australia, thereby promoting economic trade between China and Australia.
WACPA seeks to serve as a bridge to connect people and cultures, promote opportunities and innovative ideas, and create a welcoming environment for growth and collaboration within the industry.
